GALLERY PHOTOS -- FROG FONDNESS

More of John's models are in his   Part 1, Part 2, Part 3, and Matchbox Madness Galleries.

I never built Frog kits as a youngster -- all we had available were Airfix. But as a member of the Classic British Kits (CBK) Special Interest Group (SIG), I had to do a little catch-up. Our theme for the 2009 IPMS/UK Nationals (aka Scale Model World, Telford) was the history of Frog kits.

I'll fill in more later, but here's my 1st 4 Frog kits -- they were sent to Telford to be displayed and remain there for the next year to be used in other SIG displays. These four are all OOB, except a few hand-made replacement parts. They are all in kit markings, but only the Swordfish has pure kit decals -- the Whitley and Pioneer are all aftermarket, the Maryland is a mix.

Unless otherwise noted, these are all 1/72 scale.
